It has a 10,9" display and is equipped with an A14 Bionic chip. Cameras were also improved, and Lightning and the Home Button disappeared.
Just like the Apple TV 4K and the new iPad Pros with the M2 chip, there was only a press release for the basic iPad. The new iPad has an all-over design and a large 10,9-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360 × 1640 pixels and a brightness of only 500 nits. It is powered by the A14 Bionic chip, which provides even higher performance with incredible energy efficiency for demanding tasks and at the same time all-day battery life - of course, not as demanding as the M1 chip, for example. It is supposed to be 20% more powerful than its predecessor and with 10% better graphics. Apple says it's also supposed to be up to 5x faster than the best-selling Android tablet. But he doesn't say which one it is.

Updated cameras include an ultra-wide-angle 12MP front-facing camera located along the wide edge of the iPad with centering, and an improved rear camera that is also 12MP and capable of 4K video. The USB-C port supports a wide range of accessories, so even here we have said goodbye to Lightning. Wi-Fi 6 brings even faster connections, and mobile models are equipped with 5G, so users can stay connected even on the go.
