Apple is not lazy even in the new year and continues to rapidly recruit reinforcements in order to advance its business interests. The first of the newest additions to the team is John Solomon. This man has worked for the American company HP for the last more than 20 years, being one of the members of the management of the printer division. Experts speculate that Apple, thanks to its contacts, should be helped especially with the sale of products to large companies and government institutions. Some sources claim that Solomon could also play a key role in the international sales of the Apple Watch, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, which fell under his diction during HP's leadership. But this possibility is rather the less probable one.

John Solomon himself declined to comment on the alleged change of location, but an HP spokeswoman confirmed that Solomon had left his current job. Apple's spokesperson, on the other hand, confirmed that he was employed in Cupertino, but refused to provide further information about his position or role in the company.

If all the rumors are confirmed, Solomon could really be the key person for Apple to establish itself in the corporate sphere, where Apple has not had much success in the past. Until recently, moreover, he left business relations with corporate customers to various resellers. It was only last year that Apple decided to take the situation into their own hands and started hiring new employees precisely to ensure the company's direct contact with corporate clientele.

It was also an important step in this area for Apple entering into a partnership with IBM. Based on the cooperation between these two companies, it has already been established first batch of applications for the corporate sphere and companies have great ambitions to promote their products in airlines, insurance companies, medical facilities or retail chains. In addition, IBM will also be tasked with reselling iOS devices to its corporate customers.

However, Apple's new personnel acquisitions do not end here. Apple has recently received three more important reinforcements, and while John Solomon can be speculated about his role in the company, these other three acquisitions are an obvious effort by Apple to strengthen the team around the Apple Watch and their sales. We are talking about a former member of the management of the fashion company Louis Vuitton and two men from the medical industry.

The first of this trio is Jacob Jordan, who came to Cupertino in October from the position of head of men's fashion at Louis Vuitton. At Apple, Jordan is now head of sales in the special projects department, which includes the Apple Watch. After Angela Ahrendts is thus another acquisition from the clothing industry.

Another addition to the team is Dr. Stephen H. Friend, co-founder and president of the non-profit research organization Sage Bionetworks, which develops a platform for sharing and analyzing medical data. Sage Bionetworks' ventures include the Synapse platform, which the company describes as a collaborative tool that allows scientists to access, analyze and share data. Not to be overlooked is the BRIDGE tool, which provides patients with the ability to share study-related data with researchers via a web form.

Last but not least, the doctor Dan Riskin, founder and director of the healthcare company Vanguard Medical Technologies and also a professor working at Stanford University specializing in surgery, deserves attention. This man with many years of experience in his field is also a reinforcement of Apple and at the same time another proof that Apple will place considerable emphasis on health and fitness functions in its Watch.
