A fundamental personnel change he announced Apple directly on their site and for all the work he thanked Angela also Tim Cook on his Twitter. Ahrendts' departure from the company is somewhat unexpected, as it was recently speculated that she could directly replace Tim Cook as CEO in the future. She was even supposed to be the main candidate.
Angela Ahrendts took up the position of head of Apple Stores in 2014. Since then, she managed to fundamentally transform Apple's brick-and-mortar stores. Together with Jony Ive, she designed a new generation of design, which relies mainly on the use of wood and glass, complemented by greenery. Ahrendts was also instrumental in the creation of the Today at Apple training seminars, which have a special section in Apple Stores with seating and a giant projection screen. Under her auspices, the stores have generally turned into meeting places for Apple fans, rather than classic stores whose task is to quickly sell goods to the customer.

Ahrendts will leave Apple in April. At the same time, Apple has already announced her successor, who is becoming a long-time employee Deirdre O'Brien, who currently holds the position of vice president of customers. In addition to her current job, she will also be managing Apple's retail stores. It will therefore receive a total of 506 Apple Stores spread across five continents,
However, O'Brien will not hold the same role as Ahrendts, as he will focus primarily on connecting customers with employees and improving processes for both parties. In his new role, he will also lead the customer service team and oversee all human resources functions, including recruiting, development and onboarding. In addition to the aforementioned, he will negotiate various partnerships, benefits, compensation, take care of inclusion and, among other things, diversity or diversity of sellers.
On the other hand, I think that Mrs. Ahrendts has done nothing at all in 5 years. Not counting her terrible keynote performances... I saw Today at Apple in Berlin and Edinburgh and it's terrible. Nothing is happening there and the employees know nothing.

I think she is responsible for the increased prices. She wanted to sell consumer goods as jewelry. But luckily, people stop buying it. And the problems of other devices only increase.
