In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

Apple may be preparing other products for the end of this year

During this fall, we saw three Apple conferences at which, for example, the new generation iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6 and SE, new MacBooks with the M1 chip, and the like were presented. But as it now appears, Apple probably has one more ace up its sleeve, which it is going to pull out as soon as next week. This is evidenced by a newly released internal memorandum, which our foreign colleagues from the magazine managed to obtain from a legitimate source MacRumors.

In this document, Apple informs its service providers that it is planning changes to AppleCare for Tuesday, December 8 at approximately 5:30 AM PT, which is 14:30 PM here. Apple continues to advise technicians to prepare for new or revised product descriptions, new or revised product prices, and new product identification numbers. The Cupertino company has already shared almost identical memoranda in the past, even before the introduction of new products. We can mention a similar document regarding AppleCare, which was released on October 13 at 10 a.m. PST, before the initial launch of the new iPhones.

But with what new product could Apple introduce itself? Various mentions of the arrival of the AirTags localization pendant have been reported on the Internet for a long time. At the same time, there is also talk of AirPods Studio headphones, the arrival of which was previously indicated by a leaked code from iOS. Then there is the last option, which is the new generation Apple TV together with a redesigned or game controller. However, no one knows how it will turn out in the final.

Apple is working on a new stand for the Pro Display XDR

Last year, the Cupertino company boasted an extremely powerful computer, which is none other than the much-discussed Mac Pro. This piece managed to attract a lot of attention almost immediately, mainly thanks to its futuristic design, which serves for better heat dissipation and resembles a grater. But the Pro Display XDR monitor presented alongside it faced even greater criticism, namely its stand, for which we have to pay an additional 28 crowns. But as it turned out, Apple is currently working on a successor to this "piece of aluminum" and it can be expected that its price tag will increase even more.

Apple has registered a new patent, which was pointed out by the magazine Patently Apple. It describes a double stand with a fairly simple construction, where it rests on two legs, between which there is a round rod with magnetic mounts for the displays themselves. However, these handles should not be fixed, thanks to which it will be possible to move them in different ways and thus adapt the layout to your own image. Thanks to this, it will be possible to have displays right next to each other or with a large gap, while at the same time it will be possible to change their tilt.

In a certain way, it could be said that this is a kind of move forward, which will of course also be reflected in the mentioned price tag. At the same time, it is also necessary to realize for whom these products are intended. Of course, it is clear that the average user cannot fully use the potential of the professional Pro Display XDR monitor, which would make this described stand practically useless. With this, Apple targets real professionals who can get the most out of two monitors. Whether Apple will come to the market with this product is, of course, unclear for now. The Californian giant often issues all kinds of patents, which never see the light of day.
