This is a leaker, but above all it is a collector of various prototypes, some of which we have already written about in the past. Mr. White he recently shared another interesting prototype of the ceramic Apple Watch Series 5 in black on his Twitter. And it's interesting for the reason that such a variant was never actually sold.

The Apple Watch Series 5 ceramic smartwatch was only available in white, which Apple presented as high-end or more premium. However, this edition was never sold here in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. In any case, the giant from Cupertino greatly praised ceramics. According to him, it is a strong, light, scratch-resistant and four times harder than stainless steel version, which can also boast a pearly shiny surface. In the attached image, you can notice that in terms of color, this version resembles the stainless steel Apple Watch in space gray color, which is also unavailable here.
Apple fans are currently speculating about the reason why this model never made it to the shelves of retailers. The most rational solution seems to be the similarity with the mentioned space gray stainless steel Apple Watch. In such a case, two extremely similar products would be included in the offer, which, although they would look almost the same, would still differ in the material used. Apple first bet on the ceramic Apple Watch with the Series 2 and a year later with the Series 3. The Series 4 did not get this variant, which changed again with the Series 5. They came in the aforementioned white version. However, the current Series 6 is again not available in this edition.
