At the beginning, only a handful of banks and financial institutions, but over time, the support of the service has grown to a full extent. This is also for the enormous success of users who can use it with iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch and Mac computers. Especially after the launch of Apple Watch LTE in the Czech Republic, the functions for domestic users are given another dimension.
Apple Pay offers an easy, secure and private way to pay without the need to use a physical card or cash. You simply place your iPhone to the terminal and pay, you can also do so with your Apple watch. But what if you need to change the default card, update the data or delete the card? Administration works a little differently on each device.

Apple Pay and changing the default card
The first card you add to Wallet is the default card. If you then add more tabs and want to change the primary one, use this procedure for the device you're doing it on.
- iPhone and iPad: Go to Settings -> Wallet and Apple Pay and go down to Transaction preferences. Click on Default tab and select a new tab. You can also open Wallet on iPhone, hold the desired card and drag it in front of other cards.
- Apple Watch: Open the application on the connected iPhone with your watch Watch. Click on the panel here My watch, choose Wallet and Apple Pay and then Default tab. Here it is enough to choose a new card.
- Mac models with Touch ID: Choose an offer Apple in the upper left corner and go to System Preferences. Select here Wallet and Apple Pay and in the drop-down menu Default tab select a new tab.
Updating data
To change your billing information, go to on your iPhone or iPad Settings -> Wallet and Apple Pay. Click on the desired tab and select the data you want to update. You can also edit the e-mail address, phone number and delivery address here. On a Mac, you do this in System preferences -> Wallet and Apple Pay, where you select the desired tab and click the drop-down menu Billing address. In case of change of e-mail address, phone number and delivery address, click on Contact and shipping.

Removing a card
Of course, you can also remove the card from your device if necessary.
- iPhone and iPad: Go to Settings -> Wallet and Apple Pay, tap the tab you want to remove, scroll down and tap Remove tab. You can also open the Wallet app, tap on that card, select the three-dot icon, scroll down, and select Remove Card.
- Apple Watch: Open the application on the connected iPhone with your watch Watch. Go to panel My watch, scroll down, tap on Wallet and Apple Pay, tap the tab, scroll down, and finally tap Remove tab. You can also launch the Wallet application on the watch screen, select the desired card, long press it, and then just confirm the removal with the Delete menu.
- Mac models with Touch ID: Choose an offer Apple in the upper left corner and go to System Preferences. Select here Wallet and Apple Pay, click on the tab you want to delete and select the minus “–” symbol to delete it.
