Apple today announced the next edition of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place online from June 10 to 14, 2024. Developers and students will be able to attend a special event in person at Apple Park on the opening day of the conference.

WWDC is completely free for all developers and will showcase the latest improvements to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. Apple has been committed to supporting developers and improving the quality of their apps and games for a long time, so it's no surprise that this event will offer them a unique opportunity to meet Apple experts and also get a glimpse of new tools, frameworks and features.

"We're thrilled to be able to connect with developers from all over the world through this week-long conference of technology and community at WWDC24," said Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of worldwide developer relations. "WWDC is all about sharing ideas and giving our great developers innovative tools and materials to help them create something amazing."

Developers and students will be able to learn about the latest Apple software and technologies at the keynote and engage with WWDC24 throughout the week on the Apple Developer App, on the web and on YouTube. This year's event will feature video workshops, opportunities to talk with Apple designers and engineers, and connect with the global developer community.

In addition, there will also be an in-person meeting at Apple Park on the opening day of the conference, where developers will be able to watch the keynote, meet Apple team members and participate in special activities. Places are limited and information on how to register for this event is available at page dedicated to developers and in application.

Apple is justifiably proud of its program Swift student challenge, which is one of the many projects through which he supports the next generation of developers, creators and entrepreneurs. This year's contestants will be announced on March 28, and winners will be able to compete for a ticket to the opening day of the conference at Apple Park. Fifty of those whose projects stood out above the rest will receive an invitation to Cupertino for the three-day event.

Further details about this year's conference will be published by Apple in due course Apple's app for developers and on website for developers.
