On the anniversary of Earth Day, which falls on April 22, Apple released a new ad focusing on the company's efforts and steps towards a better and greener environment, especially in terms of reducing carbon emissions.

The 45-second advertising spot called "iMessage - Renewable energy" gives the viewer a preview of how the messages sent from the selected device travel directly to the company's green data centers, which are 100 percent powered by renewable sources in the form of solar, wind and hydroelectric power, as well as natural gas.

It all starts in the virtual window of the native Messages app. Both traditional blue and green bubbles appear, which are supplemented with popular emoticons and texts with various statistical data, as well as an attached map with the location of Apple's data center, where all messages flow. All this is attractively edited and accompanied by pleasant relaxing music with the sounds of tapping letters on the keyboard.

The main idea of this spot is the company's initiative to improve the environment. On average, around several tens of millions of messages are sent daily, and taking into account the fact that Apple's data centers are powered only by renewable resources, everyone shows a piece of love to Mother Earth with their sent message.

The data centers of this Cupertino giant have been operating on completely renewable resources since 2013, and the company's initiative for a greener tomorrow is definitely not weakening, on the contrary, it is getting stronger. Evidence of this effort is not only recent "Apps for Earth" campaign, but also performances recycling robot whether issuing green bonds.
