It's only been a few weeks since Angela Ahrendts left Apple, and changes are already underway that will modify the appearance of some official Apple stores. The company's management has probably understood the years-old objections of customers and employees, and thus the stores will see slight changes to help with the ease of shopping and the presentation of individual products.

The change is not widespread yet, on the contrary, it only affects a few selected Apple Stores in the USA. So Apple is probably first testing how visitors will react to the new changes. The company has changed the appearance of individual presentation panels, where iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch and other products are available to try. In addition, they also have a new information plaque that contains the most essential information.

These should help both customers, who should find it easier to navigate between individual product lines, as well as make it easier for individual employees, who will not have to constantly repeat every detail to inquiring visitors to the store and will be able to devote themselves to those who really need their help they need

Gone are the multitudes of phones, each containing an open Safari with the price tag of the selected model and configuration. At the head of each table are now presentation models together with an information plaque with all the necessary information. Then there are only multitudes of products on the tables, waiting for the inquisitive hands of customers.

In addition to the changed ways of presenting the products, Apple also adjusted the range of accessories and promotional items. For example, watch bracelets can now be better tried on and touched. Visitors also have Apple Watch bodies at their disposal, on which they can try out the offered straps. Selected Apple stores are testing a new self-checkout zone where visitors can buy small accessories, pay for them themselves and leave.

At first glance, these are entirely positive changes. How it will manifest itself in practice will be seen in the coming months. It doesn't affect us too much yet, but maybe Apple will surprise us and Prague will finally get an official Apple store. Even with the new design of the presentation spaces.
