A little while ago, Apple published the first official information regarding this year's WWDC. The developer conference will be held the week of Monday June 3rd through Friday June 7th in San Jose. During the opening Keynote, the company will introduce the new iOS 13, watchOS 6, macOS 10.15, tvOS 13 and probably several other software innovations.

This year will be the 30th annual WWDC. The weekly conference will take place for the third year in a row at the McEnery Conference Center, which is a few minutes from Apple Park, i.e. the company's headquarters. There is an enormous interest in the participation of developers every year, which is why Apple is also offering the opportunity to enter the lottery for tickets this time. Registration is available from today until March 20. The winners will be contacted a day later and will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the weekly conference for $1599 (over 36 crowns).

In addition to developers, 350 students and STEM organization members will also attend the conference. Apple will select talented students who will receive a free ticket to WWDC, will be reimbursed for overnight accommodation during the conference, and will also receive a one-year membership to the developer program. To obtain WWDC Scholarships students must create a minimum three-minute interactive project in Swift Playground that must be submitted to Apple by Sunday, March 24.

Each year, WWDC also includes a Keynote, which takes place on the first day of the event and thus essentially serves as the opening of the entire conference. During it, Apple traditionally presents new operating systems and other software innovations. Sporadically, hardware news will also make its debut. The new iOS 13, watchOS 6, macOS 10.15 and tvOS 13 will thus be revealed this year on Monday, June 3, and all four mentioned systems should be available for developers to test on the same day.
