Just like every year, Apple will host the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco. This year, WWDC will be held from June 2nd to June 6th, and developers will be able to attend more than 100 workshops and have over 1000 Apple engineers available to answer their technical questions. Tickets are on sale from today until April 7. However, unlike last year, when it was sold out literally in a few tens of seconds, Apple has decided that the ticket holders will be decided by a lottery.

On the first day of the conference, Apple will hold a traditional keynote at which it will present new versions of its OS X and iOS operating systems. Most likely, we will see iOS 8 and OS X 10.10, called Syrah. We do not yet know much about both systems, however, according to information from 9to5Mac we should see some new apps like Healthbook in iOS 8. In addition to new operating systems, Apple could also showcase new hardware, namely an updated MacBook Air line with Intel Broadwell processors and reportedly higher-resolution displays. It is not excluded that we will also see a new Apple TV or perhaps the mythical iWatch.

“We have the most amazing developer community in the world and we have a great week lined up for them. Every year, WWDC attendees become more and more diverse, with developers coming from every corner of the world and from every field imaginable. We look forward to showing how we've advanced iOS and OS X so they can build the next generation of great apps for them,” says Phill Shiller.
