Apple redesigned its own website over the weekend, or section of the online store on the English version of Apple.com. Here, users could evaluate their purchased Apple products for several years, and potential interested parties thus had information about whether people liked this or that product or not. But Apple suddenly removed the review section.

Unfortunately, nothing similar was ever available in the Czech version of the apple.com website. However, the English and American evaluations were quite long and some of the products contained very interesting information. Users often rated the products quite negatively, as is often the case in similar cases. When will users give negative references rather than positive ones. For example, in the case of the 1st generation Apple Pencil, there were more than 300 reviews on the web, most of which were negative.

The reason for removing this particular web section is so easy. Apple may not have liked the rating system, and company representatives did not want to have critical reviews of their products directly on their official website. If this explanation were true, it would be a bit of hypocrisy, but it is not too surprising. Especially in the case of some very "popular" products, such as reductions from Lightning to 3,5 mm jack and others. Or MacBooks, which in recent years have received a lot of (justified) criticism for problems with keyboards, cooling, etc.
