Jaromir Miko Apple has long allowed users to engrave text on their new devices, provided they order the products through its official online store. This option has been available for iPads and iPods for years, and was later joined by the second-generation Apple Pencil and the AirPods case.
The option to have text engraved on the AirPods has been available here for a long time, but now, for the first time ever, the company allows users to have an emoji engraved on the case instead of text. A total of 31 emoji characters are available in gray and white, so together they can resemble the well-known character font Wingdings. You can choose from animals from the Chinese zodiac, a unicorn, a ghost, various gestures, but also classic smileys or the symbol of excrement.

It is also true that users cannot combine text with emoji characters, so they have to choose whether they want to engrave one or the other on the case of their headphones. The engraved text is also now larger. The free option is only available with the purchase of AirPods Pro or AirPods 2nd generation, regardless of case type. However, it is not available when purchasing the charging case itself.
