To my personal surprise, in the past months I have met many people who do not use iCloud data storage. Simply because they don't know about it, or they don't want to pay for it (or, in my opinion, they can't appreciate what it offers in practice). In basic mode, Apple offers every user a 'default' 5GB of free iCloud storage. However, this capacity is very limited and if you only use your iPhone a little actively (if you use multiple Apple devices, the basic 5GB of iCloud storage is completely useless), it definitely cannot be enough for you. Those who still can't decide whether paying for iCloud storage is worth it can take advantage of a new special promotion from Apple.

First of all, it should be noted that it only applies to new accounts. That is, the ones that were created in the last few days/weeks. If you've had your Apple ID for several years, you're not eligible for the promotion, even if you've never paid for additional iCloud storage. So is that really the point? Apple offers a free month of subscription with each of the three iCloud options. Just choose the storage size that works for you and you'll pay nothing for the first month of use. Apple thus hopes that users will get used to the comfort of iCloud storage and will continue to subscribe to it. If you don't use iCloud storage options, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Apple offers its customers three levels of offer, which differ in both capacity and price. The first paid level is for just one euro per month (29 crowns), for which you get 50GB of space on iCloud. This should be enough for an active Apple user with more than one device. A backup from an iPhone and iPad should not simply exhaust this capacity. The next level costs 3 euros per month (79 crowns) and you get 200GB for it, the last option is a massive 2TB storage, for which you pay 10 euros per month (249 crowns). The last two variants also support family sharing options. So if you have a large family using a large number of Apple products, you can use iCloud as a comprehensive solution for the backups of all family users and you will never have to deal with the fact that '...something was deleted by itself and it is no longer possible to get it back'.

You can back up basically everything you need to iCloud storage. From the classic backup of iPhones, iPads, etc., you can store all your multimedia files, contacts, documents, application data and many other things here. If you are concerned about your privacy, Apple has always been very strict in this regard and guards the personal information of its users very closely. So if you don't use iCloud storage services, give it a try, you'll find it's worth it.
