Apple in its channel on YouTube shared a new privacy ad. In it, he emphasizes the transparency of tracking applications on the iPhone, which came with iOS 14.5 and still arouses a lot of controversy. Apps must now ask for your permission before watching, including Apple's own titles. Felix is an ordinary guy who buys a coffee in the morning, gets into a taxi and goes to the bank. The problem is that the barista leaves the cafe with him and is already dictating Felix's private information to the taxi driver. They all then go to the bank together, where they discuss his contracts. As the day progresses, Felix has a bigger and bigger crowd, depending on where he goes and what apps he uses.

This analogy so tastefully and humorously compares the tracking of the user by applications before iOS 14.5, when the user could not defend himself against it. However, with the new system update, it can determine which tracking app to allow and which to not. At the end of the whole spot, it's nice to see what the result is. Felix is alone again, only with his iPhone in hand. If it is about where Felix moves in the advertisement, then know that it is our capital, which Apple has chosen for its advertising purposes several times. Prague also featured in advertisements for the iPhone XR or Apple Watch Series 5. Here you can see the city center in the form of Národní trády or Rybná Street in front of the Astoria Hotel. It's nice to see that Apple is taking notice of the Czech Republic. But it is sad to know that it still has considerable reserves. We are still waiting for the first Czech Apple Store, we are still waiting for Czech Siri, official Car Play support and HomePod distribution.

Tracking requests in apps can be (de)activated as follows:
