Apple took an unexpected tactic. Apparently, as part of restocking, it is discounting some products, and among them is the highest configuration of the iPad Pro with 1 TB of storage.

Both models received discounts, i.e. iPad Pro 11" and iPad Pro 12,9" with a storage capacity of 1 TB. The price has decreased for both models, i.e. Wi-Fi and LTE variants. The price tag of all other capacities, i.e. 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB, remains exactly the same.

You can now buy an iPad Pro 11" with 1 TB of storage for CZK 39 (Wi-Fi) or CZK 490 (LTE). The original price was CZK 43 for Wi-Fi and CZK 990 for LTE.

Of course, the iPad Pro 12,9" with 1 TB of storage also went down in price. The Wi-Fi model costs CZK 45 and the LTE version costs CZK 490. Originally, the prices already attacked MacBook Pros with Touch Bar, as you paid CZK 49 for the Wi-Fi variant and even CZK 990 for LTE.

A discount of six thousand due to the arrival of a new generation?

The discount is the same in both cases, i.e. 6 thousand crowns. Speculation suggests that Apple is getting rid of inventory as it prepares for a new generation. It is publicly expected already next month at the October Keynote, which is usually the case aimed specifically at iPad Pros but also Macs.

On the other hand, it can also be a matter of cheapening the components, in this case the flash memory storage.

So the question is whether it is worth taking advantage of the discounts or waiting, whether we will really see a new generation of professional tablets from Apple in a month. Those, on the other hand, can be even more expensive, as new increased tariffs apply as part of the trade war between the US and China, and they also affect iPads.
