Recently, it has been about an autonomous vehicle from Apple, or another product related to cars he speaks more and more often, and the public is anxiously awaiting what the Californian company actually has planned. A new field has now been added to the rumor mill, as Apple has hired one of Tesla Motors' senior engineers to work on "special projects" in Cupertino. Jamie Carlson announced his move on LinkedIn.

There is no detailed mention of what Carlson did at Tesla Motors on his profile. It is only known that he worked on firmwares for autonomous vehicles. However, Carlson is not the first and certainly not the last expert that Apple will want to have on board.

One of the others is, for example Megan McClain, who currently works at Apple as a mechanical design engineer; it came from Volkswagen. Other new reinforcements, previously unknown in relation to Apple, were also revealed. He is now also active in Cupertino Xianqiao Tong, who developed assistance systems for NVIDIA, Vinay palakkode or Sanjai Massey, who worked for autonomous vehicles at Ford.

Stefan Weber came to Apple from Bosch, where he worked on assistance systems, and Lech Szumilas was a researcher at Delphi focusing on autonomous cars. Most of the names mentioned now have "Special Projects" in their job descriptions at Apple.

According to estimates, the Californian iPhone manufacturer has already involved around 200 people from among its employees in its new project, which is then referred to as "Project Titan". How the whole event will turn out in the end is in the stars, and we will probably have to wait a while for the resolution.
