Over the course of the spring and summer, Apple recruited new managers who subsequently became the main figures in the newly created segment, which is in charge of creating original video content. It is with him that Apple would like to score points, and this is a new point of interest for the company's management. We could see the first swallows already this year in the form of a project Planet of the Apps a carpool Karaoke. The first one mentioned didn't turn out too well and the second one isn't doing particularly well either. That's set to change next year, though, and to really make it happen, Apple has recruited four more veterans from the film industry.

The information came from Variety, and according to them, Apple has acquired three reinforcements who worked for Sony and one high-ranking executive from WGN. Specifically, this is, for example, Kim Rozenfield, former program director from Sony Pictures Television. At Apple, he will hold a leading position for the development of documentary programs. Max Aronson and Ali Woodruf still come from Sony. The first at Sony oversaw the production of dramatic work, the second over the area of creative affairs. Both will hold senior management positions at Apple.

From WGN America, Apple has acquired Rita Cooper Lee, who served as director of promotions at her former location. At Apple, he will act as a leader for communication between individual teams within the entire segment of the company.

For next year, Apple has allocated a budget of one billion dollars, with which they want to enter the market and threaten the position of Netflix and other major competitors in the field of streaming video content. Let's hope they do better than they have so far. This year's two projects are by no means successful, rather a wave of criticism is pouring in on them.
