Ondrej Holzman An unexpected addition has appeared in the Apple Online Store. Apple has quietly added a new version of the iPod touch to its store, which is cheaper and lacks a rear camera. Apple charges for such a 16GB iPod touch 6 crowns.
There are three major differences between previous iPod touch models and the latest one - price, color and the absence of a rear camera. The iPod touch with a rear camera and 32GB of storage is worth it 8 crowns, an iPod touch without a rear camera can only be purchased in the 16GB version, almost two thousand crowns cheaper. However, Apple offers only one color for the cheaper model – a black front and a silver back, which is made of metal.
Due to the absence of a rear camera, the cheaper iPod touch is also two grams lighter. At least the front-facing camera remains, so FaceTime video calls are still possible.
You can have the new iPod touch 16 GB order at the Apple Online Store. On the contrary, you will no longer find the iPod touch of the 4th generation in it, which was replaced by the new version of the last generation of the iPod touch. Unfortunately, it didn't keep its price, because the iPod touch 4th generation was sold for 5 crowns (435 GB) and 16 crowns (6 GB), both versions having a rear camera.
For someone who doesn't use the camera on the iPod, it's a nice price.
The difference of CZK 1800 for 16GB and the missing rear camera seems a little strange to me.

I would say that the camera is one of the most frequently used things on iPods and iPhones these days. A special product.
I would also rather perceive the newly offered iPod without a camera primarily as an MP3 and MP4 player. Because anyone who wants to take pictures has either a camera or an iPhone. And apparently Apple wants to achieve this and clearly divide the segment. I think this, like everything, is very well thought out...
Maybe Apple has it well thought out, but having 16GB less memory for music and saving 1800,- just seems funny to me. I would really like to see the oven who buys this new product :-)
Believe it or not, they will buy and it doesn't even have to be an oven. It's just that if I want something, I buy it and I don't have to be an oven right away. Only a microwave can write that...

In my opinion, the price of 3.459 CZK in iSTYLE for the 4th Generation Touch in the 8GB version was acceptable. I went for the Nano 7.g. , but it was impossible to say no to such an offer :) After all, Touch offers more options and for that price I can live with a lower capacity.
Is this an event in iStyle? :O I don't see this offer in the online store :)
