Apple has long been trying to educate not only young users in the field of programming. Among other things, educational events within the Today at Apple program, organized in Apple Stores around the world, serve him for this. In the first half of December, a series of events called Code with Apple, aimed at learning programming for everyone, will be held in Apple branded stores, including European branches.

The events, which will take place from December 1 to 15, will include exclusive training sessions with the participation of well-known developers and other experts, and the Coding Lab for Kids program will also be launched, for which Apple will use characters from the entertainment-educational children's series Helpsters, which is currently currently running as part of the Apple TV+ streaming service.

Apple is organizing the entire event in cooperation with Computer Science Education Week, but it is not a completely new program. Over the past seven years, the Cupertino company has held a practically identical event called Hour of Code every year.

This year, for example, the program will include a workshop in which children visiting Apple Stores will be able to try out an obstacle course with a programmable Sphero robot, learn the basics of programming in the Swift Playgrounds application, and the menu will also include the mentioned "programming kit" with the heroes of the Helpsters series . As part of the program, visitors to Apple stores will also be able to participate in a workshop focused on creating art in augmented reality, led by Sarah Rothberg, or programs with the creators of the Notable app.

In addition to branded Apple stores in New York, Washington, Chicago and San Francisco, programming workshops for beginners and advanced users will also take place in several European Apple Stores - interested parties from the Czech Republic will find the nearest branch in Munich or Vienna and they can log on to the Code with Apple website.
