In many countries around the world, users of Apple devices can pay contactless using the Apple Pay payment service. It has really expanded in recent years, and Apple continues to work on further expansion (both geographically and functionally). The latest added functionality is called Apple Pay Cash, and as the name suggests, it allows you to send "small change" using iMessage. This news is available since last week in the US and it can be expected that it will gradually expand to other countries where Apple Pay normally works. Yesterday, Apple released a video in which it presents the service in more detail.

The video (which you can watch below) serves as a tutorial for those who would like to use Apple Pay Cash. As you can see from the video, the whole process is very simple and really fast. Payment takes place through the classic writing of messages. All you have to do is choose the amount of money, authorize the payment using Touch ID or Face ID and send. The amount received is immediately credited to the recipient in Apple Wallet, from where it is possible to send money to an account with a linked payment card.

In our conditions, we can only envy such a tool. The Apple Pay service was launched in 2014 and even after more than three years it was not able to arrive in the Czech Republic. The eyes of all Apple users are fixed on next year, which is speculated to end this wait. If that actually happens, Apple Pay Cash will be a little closer. We have no choice but to wait. The only "positive side" can be that before the service actually arrives to us, it will already be properly tested and fully functional. However, if this argument satisfies you, I leave it up to you…
