Apple Music isn't just about the Apple ecosystem. Since November, this music streaming service also available on Android and the latest update proves that Apple is still interested in this platform as well. Apple Music on Android now supports widgets.

Users of the competing operating system can enjoy the offered features of Apple Music directly from the main screen, which is not yet possible on iOS. However, on Android, Apple took advantage of these possibilities and created a simple widget.

Its interface is quite traditional. It offers buttons for pausing, skipping or rewinding the song being played, including an implemented "heart" that can be used to save the song to favorites. A third of the entire area of the widget is then filled by the cover of the given album or song.

The new update also fixes an annoying bug where users were forced to add music to their library before they could add those same songs to their own playlists. Changes also came in the form of a clearer Beats 1 radio and prepaid gift cards from the settings menu. Already in February, Apple Music on Android she learned to work with memory cards.
