Apple has released an interesting update to its Apple Music app for Android, which allows users on the competing operating system to download and save songs to a memory card. This can significantly increase offline listening options.
In the update to version 0.9.5, Apple writes that by storing music on SD cards, users have the ability to store many more songs for offline listening, regardless of how much their device has a basic capacity.
Support for memory cards gives Android device owners a big advantage over iPhones, as the microSD cards typically found in Android phones can be purchased very cheaply. A 128GB card can be purchased for just a few hundred, and suddenly you have more space available than on the largest iPhone.
The latest update also brings the complete program of the Beats 1 station to Android and new options for viewing composers and compilations, which should make classical music or film soundtracks more visible in Apple Music.
Apple Music app is a free download on Google Play and Apple still offers a 90-day free trial. After that, the service costs $10 per month.

Well, I don't know, under the wording, a 128 GB SD card can be purchased for just a few hundred crowns, I imagine 500 to a maximum of 800 CZK. Well, for some, 1500 is a few hundred. Otherwise, I would rather have less space than constantly having to deal with moving applications from the phone to the SD card on Android...that is, if the application allows it.
You're right, I got carried away by foreign prices on Amazon :) In our country it's at least over a thousand.
You are right, on amazon you can find the price as low as 15 USD. But even if it was only a dollar, it doesn't matter at all if you get the message This item does not ship to the Czech Republic :-). Cards that could be sent to the CZ start at around 45 USD plus 21% VAT and we are at thirteen hundred (if postage is free)
So if less space is better than more space, then yes. The memory stick is primarily intended for storing data such as music or movies. There, one does not deal with the transfer speed. 1500 is really a few hundred for 128GB. How much will Apple pay for 128GB, huh? But if less space is better than more space, then yes. Otherwise, I personally tried Apple Music on Android. Uninstalled and paid for premium Spotify account. Great satisfaction.
No, I meant something else. An Android phone with 8GB internal and 128GB externally on an SD card is of course more than the 128GB iPhone. But on such a device, you also have to move those applications to the SD card. And I'd rather have a 64GB iPhone than a 136GB Android. Now it has been confirmed again with my son's mobile phone. Apps on SD card and then unable to update from Google play. Error 506. OK move app to phone, update, move app to SD card. No thanks. I had Spotify for about a year with a subscription, and that was at a time when Apple Music had not even been heard of. I ended up canceling it, it didn't fit. Now AppleMusic and total satisfaction. So yes, for me, there is less space that is tuned and working, MORE than more space, where something has to be solved all the time, what I have in the internal and what on the SD.
And how about buying an Android phone with 16 or 32 Gb and then a 128 Gb SD card for photos, videos and music? So you will have enough space for applications without having to move anything and 128 Gb for multimedia, which you do not have to move but you direct them there. The fact that you basically buy a phone with 8 Gb and then deal with moving it to a card is your problem and not the problem of the phone or Android manufacturer. Android just gives that option, it doesn't mean you have to do it. Even Apple sells older models with 8 Gb, but you don't have the option of expandability there. Personally, I think this is quite logical from Apple Music and very convenient for Android users.
