Apple Music in collaboration with the media giant VICE brings a unique series of six short documentary programs about different local music scenes. The first part of the documentary series The Score subtitled "Reservation Rap" is now available for streaming and will take viewers to the Native American rappers living on the shores of Red Lake in the US state of Minnesota. The problem is that it is not yet available in the Czech Republic.

It's no news that Apple wants to offer as much exclusive content as possible to its 11 million music subscribers within the Apple Music service. As a result, Apple Music users can be the only ones to enjoy, for example, select music videos from Drake, watch a documentary about Taylor Swift, or watch DJ Khaled's show every week.

Some time ago, information also surfaced that Apple is preparing a dark documentary drama Vital Signs. The main role should be played by Dr. Dre, a world-famous member of the groundbreaking hip-hop group NWA, who is, among other things, the co-founder of the Beats brand and an Apple employee.

As for the new documentary series The Score, it is interesting that each episode of the show will also bring a unique playlist of songs that will further illustrate the ethnic or local music depicted in the documentary. You can already have the aforementioned playlist play in Apple Music, unfortunately, the almost 10-minute long documentary is not yet available in the Czech Republic. We can only hope that Apple doesn't make it exclusive to the United States.

Although it is clear that Apple Music cannot play such an important role in Apple's revenue, it is nice that the company is trying to make it as interesting a part of the ecosystem of its products and services as possible. In addition, the bet on video clearly makes sense, as evidenced by the efforts of Spotify and the YouTube video portal, which came up with the YouTube RED paid service.
