Although Apple boasted at WWDC that its music streaming service already has over 15 million paying users, making it the fastest growing service of its kind, Eddy Cue had to announce the necessary changes to the interface right after. Within iOS 10 the brand new Apple Music mobile application will arrive, trying to offer a simpler and clearer interface.
It was for its appearance and poor user experience that Apple Music was often criticized during its first year of existence. Apple therefore decided to try to change it after a year to make everything easier. Apple Music continues to be dominated by white, but the section headings are now in a very bold San Francisco font, and overall the controls are larger.
The bottom navigation bar offers four categories: Library, For You, News and Radio. After launch, the first Library will automatically be offered, where your music is clearly arranged. An item with downloaded music has also been added, which you can play even without Internet access.
Under the For You category, the user will find a similar selection as before, including recently played songs, but now Apple Music offers playlists composed for each day, which will probably be similar Discover Weekly by Spotify.
The other two categories in the bottom bar remain identical to the current version, in iOS 10 only the last icon changes. Unpopular a social initiative of a musical nature Connect is replaced by search. It is also worth noting that Apple Music will now show the lyrics for each song.
In terms of functionality, Apple Music has not changed much, the application has mainly undergone graphic changes, but only time will tell if it was a step for the better from Apple. The new Apple Music app will arrive with iOS 10 in the fall, but it's available to developers now and will appear as part of the iOS 10 public beta in July.
it would be nice to finally play an artist without having to choose albums ..
This is possible even now.
so I haven't figured it out yet, how? I always have to select a song or an album .. but to select an artist and let it play, you haven't figured that out yet ..
Hello. Just tap on the square with the picture next to the artist.
It would be mainly necessary to allow the user to upload music to the mobile phone from anywhere in one place and not just synchronize via iTunes with one single computer. Sorry, but all this frenetic clapping over nothing - just a normal standard improvement of the system and that's only in promises and incompleteness, I'm starting to get fed up. And I like apple iron. However, the entire ecosystem lags considerably behind the competition. It seems to me that Apple has simply spread itself too far, it wants to do everything itself and better, and the result is half-baked and constantly unfinished. For example, the huge button to turn on the night mode in iOS!!! God why? Why aren't there three more icons instead, preferably user configurable? Why do I still have to go to settings to turn mobile data on and off? Why can't I still turn my phone vibrate on and off and change the ringtone when I go out or when I go home without spending a minute clicking on my phone? Etc. Etc. A big disappointment for me...
Are you serious about that first sentence?
And why shouldn't I take her seriously? I'm a person who buys music. I have a collection of almost a thousand CDs. But when I buy music, for example, on Google Play - because the same music there is an order of magnitude cheaper than in iTunes, or on Amazon or independent websites, I have to get it as a package first to a single computer, where it syncs with iTunes, and then synchronize. There is no way to get legally purchased music from various places into the iTunes player directly on the mobile.
So how does it work without any problems on any Android phone…
I have exactly the same problem and I don't have a problem inserting a CD into the drive (nothing more, I don't have to wait, iTunes starts automatically, imports the music and uploads it to iCloud) or if I buy outside the store, I just import it. Do you want to go back to 95 and move the chaos between folders and sync with a cable? Actually it wouldn't even be a sync, it reminds me of the horror movie with my first mp3 before the iPod.
God why? What a cable. Do I just click on the song right on the phone and say move to iTunes or add to iTunes playlist? Btw. the famous synchronization via iTunes library made such a mess in my library that it's useless to talk. Lots of songs on macbook at once twice etc. I had to turn it off….
Exactly as you describe, it works for me on an 8-year-old Mac without any problems, iCloud library is a super practical thing, I'm sorry that you have problems with it. True, sometimes it annoys me that they arbitrarily change my artwork.
It probably won't be about the age of the computer, but simply about the fact that the service may work correctly for most people, but then not for many others. I searched the discussion forums and unfortunately there are many of us. And somehow, after three attempts, I stop enjoying spending time on further attempts with settings. Unfortunately, the same is true with photos. All of a sudden they stop syncing, then somewhere in the depths you find out that you got bitten on one photo and the sync cycles on it. No error message, nothing, everything looks so that the user is not scared by the fact that something is happening and nothing is happening. And this is really the case with many things, including airplay. It just doesn't work sometimes, you restart and then it does again.
I used apple music and streamed it through apple tv through a digital cable to the amplifier. It bit every moment. Then I stopped enjoying the service, it kept forcing me to listen to meaningless music, it's hard to search, the interface is tragic, maybe it's just for mainstream listeners of Justin and Maroon - or whatever it's called. I subscribed to Spotify and not only am I totally excited about their discover weeks and related music offers, but I bought google chromecast audio, connected to an amplifier and everything works much better via iPhone than native apple services. It streams the chromecast itself from the service, the phone only serves as a controller at that moment, so it doesn't discharge at all and nothing gets cut. Synchronization of a large number of documents via OneDrive or Dropbox on the iPhone is also more reliable, etc. So, as I say, I've been a bit dissonant about where Apple is going for the last two years. A lot of bullshit and coloring books at the expense of functionality and practicality, and the whole WWDC was unfortunately quite an example of that...
I understand, I'm still more comfortable with integration, I choose what I listen to myself, and the music offered in Apple music doesn't suit me either. Otherwise, photos and airplay and similar communication in the home network are going well, at first there was a problem here and there, but no sir.
I accidentally bought a Meizu MX4 Pro for 8490,-
It has a powerful Exynos 5430.
3GB RAM.
A QHD IPS panel...the iPhone probably won't have it for a few more years.
Compared to the iPhone 6, the RAM size is very noticeable, especially when browsing the web.
The system is fast and excellently optimized.
Photo quality much better than iPhone 6.
Listening to music:
It has a great DA converter and a very good MP3/AAC player, which also allows the connection of high-impedance headphones.
Excellent transmission quality via bluetooth 4.0 listening to Harman Kardon Soundsticks.
For the music files that I want to play, the following folder is designated in the file manager, I copy the iTunes library into it via WiFi and everything works as it should, of course I can also add songs downloaded directly from the Internet to the phone, or music downloaded from YouTube.
I would see quite a problem with that, if only because I haven't had any mechanics for a few years :)
External? Distant? If the user does not want to deal with it, he does not import the tribute CD. :) external mechanics cost a few crowns.
Personally, I don't see it as a step for the better. For a person to scroll for half an hour with senselessly large inscriptions.. A similar situation to what happened with you tube.. In the column where 9 small video previews could fit, now only 3 can fit. I consider this approach to be an incredible waste of space and an unnecessary complication of orientation in the environment. iOS 10 is the first system I'm not looking forward to.. Apple made everything unnecessarily complicated in the name of adding more "cool" features. For example, slide to unlock is missing, to pause music you have to swipe more and many similar things..
That's right, I already wrote feedback to Apple, this is probably the worst update so far in terms of ergonomics. I hope they'll fine-tune it, because so far it's quite a step in the wrong direction.
And why is it all pink, I understand that the CEO is excited, but why can't it be for us heterosexuals too? I don't want the song selection to feel like shove it in there…
God for what, another retarded moron and would-be macho. (fill in a smiley - a face with rolling eyes).
If the color of the application makes you feel like "stick it there", then please, at least don't contribute to the discussion with that Jesus brain. And if I'm not mistaken, the head of Apple Music is a woman (?).
