Apple has finally gotten rid of the criticized notch, replacing it with a double-piercing cooperation system. In short, it can be said that the penetration changes dynamically depending on the currently ongoing operation/function. The Cupertino giant has once again managed to captivate the world, simply by taking a technology that has existed for years and embellishing it into a better form.

Currently, however, Dynamic Island is an exclusive feature of the more expensive Pro model series. So if you have a crush on the regular iPhone 14, then you are simply out of luck and will have to settle for the traditional cutout. This is precisely why a rather interesting discussion has opened up among apple growers. The question is how the next generation of iPhone 15 will fare, or whether the basic models will also get Dynamic Island. But the truth is that if Apple wants to succeed, it has only one option.
Why they need Dynamic Island base models
As it seems, Apple simply cannot avoid implementing Dynamic Island even on the basic models. There have even been leaks about the fact that the next series will receive this gadget completely, i.e. including the basic models, which is what one of the most respected analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, came up with. However, opinions quickly emerged among apple growers that we should approach these reports with a certain distance. A similar discussion was opened even after the introduction of the iPhone 13 (Pro). At first, it was expected that the ProMotion display would also be used in the basic iPhone 14, but this did not happen in the end. In the case of Dynamic Island, however, it has a slightly different justification.

Dynamic Island significantly changes the appearance of the entire operating system and software. This presents a great opportunity for developers who can use the dynamically changing aperture within their applications to take the overall quality of the software one step further. Precisely for this reason, it would not make sense if Apple kept a novelty of such dimensions, which has a fundamental effect on the entire system, exclusively for Pro models only. Developers would literally lose motivation. Why would they needlessly modify their software only for Pro models? Developers are an extremely important component that contributes to the overall popularity and functionality of iPhones. For this reason, it would not make sense not to deploy the news on the basic iPhone 15 (Plus).
Dynamic Island vs. Notches:
At the same time, as we mentioned in the beginning, Dynamic Island is a novelty that the public fell in love with almost immediately. Apple managed to turn a simple hole into an interactive element and, thanks to the excellent cooperation between hardware and software, makes the overall use of the device noticeably more pleasant. Whether this is an ideal solution, however, everyone has to judge for themselves - in any case, according to the reactions of the majority, it can be said that Apple has hit the nail on the head in this regard.
