Benjamin Levicek If you are one of the undemanding users and don't want to buy the latest iPhone model, then Apple is still selling the iPhone 11 and SE (2020) alongside the new "twelves". If you followed today's conference carefully, or if you regularly read news in our magazine, you may have found out that the presented flagships do not offer either a charging adapter or EarPods in their packaging. Most of you probably hoped that you would see the power adapter and EarPods at least in the mentioned older iPhones 11 and SE (2020), but this article will disappoint you.

When you order one of the older phones on Apple's website, you will not receive either a power adapter or EarPods in the package due to environmental protection. However, you can look forward to a smaller package and feel good about having purchased a device from a company that is one of the few that cares about our planet. If even this feeling does not satisfy you, at least one piece of good news is that Apple will supply a power and data cable with all phones, which has a Lightning connector on one side and a USB-C connector on the other - it can be observed that Apple is gradually it gets rid of the outdated USB-A, which is definitely a good thing. What's also great is the fact that with this cable you will be able to easily charge your iPhone from your MacBook, or from the latest iPad Pro or Air.

According to several speculations, the new cable supplied with all new phones was supposed to be braided, but this did not happen, and in the package you will again find the identical rubber cable that we are used to from all other phones. Personally, I'm not surprised by the information about environmental protection, because Apple has only unified the philosophy of emphasizing ecology. As for the ecology, it's just an eye-opener at Apple. If they really cared about the environment, they would make Macbooks, for example, much more repairable. And not everything so that it can't be fixed if possible.
So I don't think they care about the ecology. But I agree with the fixability, they should work on it a lot. On the other hand, when have I had anything repaired by Apple other than the battery? Personally, I never do anything :-).
How about their longitudinal butterfly keyboards or undersized cables to the display?
