The latest iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the first ever phones from Apple to come with a more powerful 18W adapter for fast charging and a Lightning cable with USB-C. As it seems, even Apple is not infallible, because for some iPhones 11 from the series Pro he accidentally packed the wrong cable, which somewhat complicates charging the phone. The whole event is all the more interesting because the error occurred with a piece sold in Slovakia.

Slovak magazine reader svetapple.sk bought a new iPhone 11 Pro. After unpacking the phone, he discovered that the box contained an older version of the Lightning cable with USB-A, which Apple bundles with the cheaper iPhone 11 and older models of its phones. At first glance, some people don't even recognize the confusion, but the problem comes when you need to connect the phone to the charger. While the cable has a USB-A end, the adapter is equipped with a USB-C connector and the accessories are therefore incompatible with each other.

Although similar problems only happen sporadically with Apple, sometimes even the master carpenter gets cut. The replacement of cables must have already occurred during the packaging of the phones in Apple's Chinese factories. This is because both the iPhone 11 Pro and the cheaper iPhone 11, which comes with the original Lightning cable with USB-A end and also with a weaker adapter, are completed here.

iPhones sold in the Czech Republic and Slovakia fall under the same distribution. Therefore, if a similar problem occurs to any of you, we recommend that you do not unpack the cable and take the phone to the store where it was purchased. The seller should honor your warranty and replace the phone including the packaging with a new one since you did not receive the device in the condition as stated in the offer.
