The company's CEO, Tim Cook, is proud to say that Martin Luther King was a role model and inspiration for him, as he spent a significant part of his life fighting for equal civil rights.
This day is something of a day off for all companies in America. Last year, Apple offered to donate $50 for every hour worked by their employees. However, it is not yet known whether he will run a similar charity event this year.
