Amaya Toman Fortune magazine Issued its annual ranking of the world's most admired companies. Apple defended its first position again – this year it is the twelfth time without a single interruption.
The companies in this ranking are judged based on nine different criteria. For example, the level of innovation, social responsibility, quality of products and services, global competitiveness or perhaps the quality of management are taken into account. The rating itself, according to Fortune, is a matter of a three-step process.
To determine the best-rated companies in 52 industries, executives, directors and analysts are asked to rate companies in their own industry based on the above criteria. In order for a given company to be included in the ranking, it must be in the top half of the ranking in its field.

This year, 3750 prominent employees of various companies were questioned as part of the evaluation. In the questionnaire, they were asked to choose the ten companies they most admire, choosing from a list of companies that were ranked in the top 25% in previous questionnaires. Anyone can vote for any company of any focus.

Apple is repeatedly placed not only at the top of the list of the most admired companies, but also scores in other similar lists - from the most valuable brands to the most profitable companies.
