Every year in January, Fortune magazine publishes a list of the most admired companies, which brings together almost four thousand top managers, directors of large corporations and all kinds of analysts. For the eleventh time in a row, the company Apple finished on the first place, which, just like last year, scored points in all measured categories, where it finished in the first places.

The company Amazon ended up trailing behind Apple, thus continuing its position last year. The third place belongs to the company Alphabet, the "potato" position of the analytical and investment company Berkshire Hathaway of Warren Buffett, and the coffee giant Starbucks completes the top 5.

Less than four thousand evaluators grade individual companies in several categories, which include innovation, quality of management, social responsibility, work with company assets, financial capabilities, quality of products and services, or global competitiveness. Based on these parameters, fifty companies are determined, which are published in this prestigious ranking every year. If a company appears in it, it obviously does what it does well.

Here we can basically find all the global icons that almost everyone knows. For example, in this year's version, the seventh place belongs to Microsoft. Facebook made it to twelfth place. The Coca Cola Company is in eighteenth place and McDonald's in thirty-seventh place. For example, the company Adidas or the technological giant Lockheed Martin made it to the list for the first time. The largest year-on-year drop was recorded by the GE corporation, which fell from seventh to thirtieth place.
