You hear about artificial intelligence every day and at every turn. Not everyone may like it, but it is obvious that it is a current trend that is practically impossible to avoid. Every single day, certain advances are made in this area that cannot be completely ignored. And finally, even Apple knows because it couldn't afford to stand by.

Most of us today can only take it as an interest, some are afraid of it, others welcome it with open arms. There can be many views and opinions about AI and it depends from person to person if they think that such technology will benefit them or even make them lose their jobs. Everything is possible and we ourselves cannot guess where it will go.

Big tech companies simply rely on artificial intelligence, whether it's Google, Microsoft, or even Samsung, which flirts with AI to some extent, although not quite publicly. It still has the advantage (just like other Android smartphone manufacturers) that it can easily reach for the solutions of large companies. Even though Google is offering him, Microsoft was hanging in the air for a while here, which has now been denied.

The main reasons

The wait for Apple's answer was rather impatient and far too long. The company itself must have felt under pressure, which is why it introduced news in iOS 17 with regards to Accessibility even before WWDC. But now it all looks like a well-thought-out strategy. While this is a different AI than we've all imagined, it's important that it's here for several reasons:

  • First of all, one can no longer talk about Apple as a company that ignores this trend.
  • With its original concept, Apple again showed that it thinks about things differently.
  • Except for a simple chatbot with some information retrieval, he showed a solution that can really improve life.
  • This is just a hint of what iOS 17 can really bring.

We can think what we want about Apple, but we have to give it credit for the fact that it is a really good player. From the original ignorance and criticism, he suddenly turned into a leader. We know that he is stepping into AI, that he is no stranger to artificial intelligence and that what we already know about his solution is only a fraction of what can await us in the finale.

The news was published with regard to World Accessibility Day, so it can be said that Apple planned it perfectly. So he gave a taste, but did not offer the whole portion. He is most likely hiding this at WWDC23, where we can learn really big things. Or, of course, not either, and major disappointment can come. However, Apple's current intention is really smart and it is necessary to always take it as the company that does things differently after all. We can only hope that the strategy will work for him.
