Jan Zdarsa Apple has finally officially announced when the Apple iPad will go on sale. It will be available for pick-up at the US Apple Store on April 3rd, with pre-orders starting as early as March 12th.
And pre-orders will probably be needed, as several analysts have already agreed that the iPad has minor production problems, although Apple directly denied this. According to analysts, only 200-300 thousand units will be available in the first days of sales.
But this day of sale only applies to the US, other countries will have to wait a few days longer. On April 3, only the WiFi model will be sold, the 3G model should appear later in April, including in some other countries. Unfortunately, the iPad won't go on sale in the Czech Republic even at the end of April, we'll have to wait a while longer. All iPad models will go on sale in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and the UK at the end of April. So you can plan your vacation accordingly, although the iPad will certainly be in short supply in these countries as well.
Since the iPad doesn't have a CZ keyboard, it's useless for us anyway. :)
…. and that's like why is it any good without a CZ keyboard?
