It was launched very quietly by Apple on its developer portal blog. Apple engineers themselves are going to gradually introduce the new programming language Swift, which was revealed at the WWDC conference in June.

"This new blog will bring a behind-the-scenes look at Swift from the engineers who created it, alongside the latest news and tips to help you become a productive Swift programmer," reads the first welcome post. Besides him, we can find only one other on the blog contribution, which covers application compatibility, libraries, and more.

Anyone who wants to try programming in Swift doesn't need to have a paid developer account anymore. Apple has made the beta version of the Xcode 6 programming tool available to all registered developers for free.

We can expect that Apple engineers will supply the blog with information and interesting tips during the summer so that developers can adopt the new programming language as soon as possible. Although the blog is written only in English, it can become an invaluable tool for developers.
