For charitable purposes, Apple has teamed up with the musical group Imagine Dragons and all the funds it earns exclusive single "I Was Me", donates to help with the international refugee crisis. The new song costs $1,29 and is available worldwide.

The new single from the popular Imagine Dragons is exclusively available only on iTunes (not even on Apple Music), and everyone who buys it will donate the entire amount to the United Nations Refugee Agency. Respectively, Apple donates all proceeds for these purposes.

In addition to cooperation within the One4 Project she engaged also SAP, which will add 10 cents to the first five million downloads of the single "I Was Me", bringing the total up to half a million dollars.

"As a group, we wanted to get involved and decided to work with SAP and Apple to help," said Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, who said the refugee crisis is an extremely urgent issue given the number of people affected. "'I Was Me' is a song about trying to get your life back, which is exactly what millions of people are trying to do right now," adds Reynolds, who hopes that whether by downloading their song or through other means, people will help other families in need.

Apple's vice president of policy and social affairs, Lisa Jackson, also expressed support for the project on Twitter. Above-mentioned the One4 Project, which now includes Apple and Imagine Dragons, contributes directly to the aid of Syrian refugees fleeing war across the Mediterranean.

This is not Apple's first public support for solving the refugee situation. Some time ago, it launched the possibility of contributions for the Red Cross in iTunes and the App Store. Single "I Was Me" by Imagine Dragons can be found in iTunes.
