Apple released watchOS 6.2.8 and tvOS 13.4.8 today

In addition to the release of the operating system today iOS 13.6, so of course macOS 10.15.6 came next. The not so popular apple operating systems were also not forgotten. Alongside the new versions of iOS, iPadOS and macOS, the Californian giant also released watchOS 6.2.8 for Apple Watch and tvOS 13.4.8 this evening. While, for example, iOS 13.6 saw several new features, led by the expected Car Key function, unfortunately the same cannot be said about the new watchOS and tvOS systems – there are really few new features here.

As for watchOS 6.2.8, only Apple Watch Series 5 users can use it. Support for digital car keys (Car Key) was added in this version for the current latest Apple Watch. We saw support for digital car keys in iOS 13.6, and in addition to iPhones, it will be possible to unlock supported vehicles with Apple Watch. In addition, there are, of course, fixes for various errors and bugs. Apple also released tvOS 13.4.8 for Apple TV - here we saw practically no news, only bug fixes and various bugs.

If you want to update your Apple Watch, either go to the Watch app on your iPhone, click General, then Software Update. You can also update directly on the Apple Watch, just go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. For Apple TV, go to Settings -> System -> Software Update, where the new version should appear.
