The new MacBook Pros are almost around the corner. So at least there are several verified sources behind it. According to the latest information, the production of new M2 chips, which should appear in these pieces, has allegedly already started. At the same time, Apple was placed in the prestigious list of the 100 most influential companies of 2021.

New Macs are around the corner. Apple started production of M2 chips

Over the past few months, several reports have appeared on the Internet about new models of Apple computers that will be equipped with a chip from the Apple Silicon family. In addition, last week we saw the introduction of a redesigned iMac. In its guts beats the M1 chip, which by the way (for now) is found in all Macs with an Apple chip. But when will we see a successor? Quite interesting information comes from today's portal report Nikkei Asia.

Recall the introduction of the M1 chip:

According to their information, Apple has started mass production of next-generation chips called M2, which should appear in upcoming products. The production itself should then take about three months, so we will have to wait for the new Macs until July of this year at the earliest. In any case, what this piece will improve and what will be its differences compared to the M1 chip is, of course, unclear for now. Of course, we can count on an increase in performance, and some sources stand behind the claim that the M2 model will first head to the 14″ and 16 MacBook Pro, which have been quite a hot topic lately. We must not forget to mention the original words of Apple. Last year, during the presentation of Apple Silicon, he mentioned that the entire transition from Intel processors to his own solution should be completed within two years.

Apple appeared in the list of 100 most influential companies 2021 as a Leader

Currently one of the world's most popular magazines TEAM published a list of the 100 most influential companies in 2021, which of course also features Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. The giant from Cupertino appeared in the Leader category and, according to the portal itself, won this position for its record quarter, great products, services and the fact that it handled the coronavirus epidemic so well and thus increased its sales.

Apple managed to take in a record 111 billion dollars during the last quarter of last year, mainly thanks to strong sales during the Christmas period. The pandemic itself has the lion's share of it. People have moved to home offices and distance learning, for which they naturally need suitable products. This is exactly what led to increased sales of Macs and iPads. We must also definitely not forget to mention the power of Apple computers with the M1 chip, which boast great performance and are brilliant for these needs.
