The release of iOS 14.5 is almost here. In addition to the new rules, when applications will have to ask Apple owners whether they can track it across other applications and websites, this system should also bring an interesting calibration tool available to iPhone 11 owners. This should solve the problem with inaccurate display of the maximum battery capacity. But how does it actually work? At the same time, a tweet from a well-known analyst flew across the Internet today, confirming the arrival of 120Hz LTPO displays in the case of this year's iPhone 13.

For iPhone 11 users, their capacity increased after battery calibration

With the arrival of the sixth developer beta version of the operating system iOS 14.5, users of the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max received a new tool whose task is to fix the error in the case of these devices. This is because these Apple phones have a problem with displaying the maximum battery capacity, which actually doesn't work quite right. Because of this, Apple users actually see lower values in Settings than what their iPhone actually has. This is exactly what the iOS 14.5 version should change, namely the aforementioned calibration tool.

Apple added to this news that noticing any change may take several weeks before the process is completely completed. It has now been two weeks since the release of the mentioned sixth beta that brought this tool and the first users have shared their experiences, which are truly surprising. For example, the editor of the foreign magazine 9to5Mac reported on his Twitter that his Maximum capacity increased from 86% to 90%. Social networks are now filled with posts describing the same experience.

Another source confirmed the arrival of 120Hz LTPO displays

In connection with the upcoming iPhone 13, there is often talk of the arrival of 120Hz LTPO displays. This information was already shared by the South Korean website The Elec in December, according to which the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max boast exactly this new feature. However, the situation has changed since then. A number of sources began to claim that only one model from the upcoming generation will offer such an improved display. However, a renowned analyst focused on displays, Ross Young, has recently made himself heard. He confirmed and denied the speculations about the displays at the same time. Young wrote on his Twitter that although there is only one iPhone 13 with a 120Hz LTPO display, we don't have to worry, because in the final it will be a little different - the technology should arrive on several models.

This is what the iPhone 13 Pro could look like (YouTube):

We can determine with high probability that the technology will be adapted by both Pro models. The mentioned LTPO technology is significantly more economical and specifically handles the individual switching on/off of individual pixels to maximize battery life. So there is a chance that the iPhone 13 Pro, after a long wait, will actually offer a 120Hz display, which will noticeably improve its quality and make it more pleasant, for example, to watch multimedia content or play games.
