With its help, Apple users can turn their iPhone (XS and later) into a contactless terminal and accept not only Apple Pay payments, but also contactless payment cards. The feature should be available for entrepreneurs and developers. However, as we all know Apple, we already know very well that there is a rather fundamental catch. Tap to Pay will initially only be available in the United States, with the question of when the feature will expand to other countries. However, as we know the apple company, it will definitely not be in much of a hurry.

Unfortunately, this situation is not happening for the first time and we could find several examples when we had to wait a long time for some gadgets, or we are still waiting for them today. Which is quite sad from the most valuable company in the world. Although Apple is a technology giant, it ranks among the most admired companies, and at the same time it has a huge number of fans and customers around the world. So isn't it a shame that the new features are still limited to the US and any other lucky ones?
When will Tap to Pay be available in the Czech Republic?
Of course, it is therefore appropriate to ask when the function will arrive in our Czech Republic. As already mentioned above, it will start only on the territory of the United States of America, while it should subsequently expand to other countries as well. After all, this is what the Cupertino giant claims for any function that is not available in our country. In addition, if we look at the earlier functions that were not available to us at first, we certainly do not get much hope. Let's therefore briefly point out some of them.
Apple Pay
For example, let's start with the Apple Pay payment method, which is one of the most popular payment methods in the apple world. Thanks to this, we don't have to bother looking for a payment card, and we simply need to bring an iPhone or Apple Watch to the payment terminal. Apple Pay has officially been around since 2014. Back then, it was only available in the US, but soon after, the UK, Canada and Australia joined them. But how was it in our case? We had to wait for another Friday - specifically until 2019. Apple Pay Cash, or a service with which apple users can send money (to their contacts), is also related to this gadget. It first saw the light of day in 2017 and we are still waiting for it, while in the US it is a common thing. We still had to wait for one of the biggest functions of the Apple Watch Series 4. The watch was already released in 2018, while the ECG function was only available in the Czech Republic for less than a year.
According to this, it is more than clear that we will unfortunately have to wait for Tap to Pay for some more time. In the end, it is rather sad that such systems, which would clearly please even domestic entrepreneurs, are unfortunately not available here, although they can fully enjoy it elsewhere. After all, this is one of the biggest problems with Apple in general, which is common to Apple users from similar countries, where new functions have to wait a long time. The Cupertino giant in a certain way favors its home market and lightly coughs on the rest of the world. For this reason, we have no choice but to firmly hope that the situation will improve at some point.

I think it's not about the speed of Apple.. but the approval legislative processes of individual countries combined with the security that Apple will suffer.
I can't imagine why Siri is available on all devices sold in the Czech Republic, except Apple TV. Otherwise, I agree with the article. It's the thing that annoys me the most about Apple.
They could also finally add Czech prediction to the keyboard, that seems completely out of place to me. I'm using SwiftKey now, but I'd appreciate it if I could use Apple's.
And it's not by chance, you can't just run this function without it being allowed in the country ♂️ 🤷. Perhaps, on the contrary, the USA is a pioneer, on the basis of which only other countries will allow it...
Still, the US is the key, nothing can be done about it...
It's very simple.. as users of Apple devices we cry, if we were in the lead, we operate according to the 20/80 rule where 20% of the market makes up 80% of your profit. That's exactly why Apple is the most valuable company in the world, because it's used almost everywhere... and 20% of the market is the USA, we can say that right away, I'd say it's even more than 20%...
The share of all the countries of the American continent in the total turnover of Apple is 42%.
What I find embarrassing is that Siri is not in Czech. Why the hell do I have to control the light bulbs in AJ. I'll get another assistant from the list and I'll be able to use the homekit from afar......
