Adam Kos Apple is preparing the release of iOS 16.4, the beta of which showed an interesting fact. The company is about to launch new Beats Studio Buds+ headphones. However, as it seems, the Apple brand serves only one purpose – to have an alternative to AirPods for Android.
The Beats Studio Buds were released in 2021 as an alternative to AirPods Pro that is also usable on Android devices. You can also pair AirPods with them, but you will lose a number of functions, such as active noise cancellation or 360-degree sound. Since Apple already has the 2nd generation AirPods Pro on the market, it was only a matter of time before the successor to the Beats Sudio Buds arrived.

What is certainly interesting is that, according to the latest information, they will not be equipped with Apple's own chip, which is W1 or H1, but Beats' own chip will be present. The brand is thus still trying to live its own life, even if it is heard less and less about it. One of the features Beats Studio Buds lacks compared to AirPods is in-ear detection, it can't play and pause content when you insert or remove them from your ear, it can't automatically switch devices, or it can't sync paired devices.

The Beats company was founded in 2006 and has brought a number of products to the market, from classic over-the-head headphones, sports ones, TWS or Bluetooth speakers. However, the newly prepared novelty could change that with its own chip.
