In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

Setapp also targets iOS

If you work on an Apple computer every day, you may have heard of a service called Setapp. It's a value-for-money package that just pays for a monthly subscription, giving you automatic access to more than 190 handy apps. These are classic and very effective programs for which you would otherwise spend a lot of money. This method is particularly advantageous for more demanding people who rely on several different applications on a daily basis and can save a lot on it. The service is currently being extended to the iOS platform as well.

At first glance, you might think that this way creates another subscription, for which the provider will charge additional dollars. Fortunately, the opposite is true. The service applies to both platforms at the same time, and if the given application is also available on iOS, you will be able to download it without any problems. Users simply need to register their iPhone under their account as another device.

Tim Cook's fortune exceeded one billion dollars

The Californian giant is known as the most valuable company in the world and undoubtedly represents a sign of luxury, premium design and first-class quality. So Apple is a truly wealthy company that certainly doesn't have a shortage. Even the head of the company, Tim Cook, is generally associated with this. According to the magazine's latest calculations Bloomberg now, Cook's net worth has exceeded one billion dollars, which is more than $22 billion.

For the huge increase, the Apple boss can thank the shares, the value of which is now constantly increasing. In any case, it is interesting to look at the development of the value of the apple company itself. When the previous director Steve Jobs, who was among other things one of the greatest visionaries of his time, a revolutionary and behind Apple's greatest rise, died in 2011, the value of the company was 350 billion dollars. However, under the leadership of Cook, it was able to increase significantly to 1,3 trillion dollars.

At the same time, Tim Cook does not waste his fortune and uses it for good purposes. During his tenure, he has already given away several million dollars in shares to various charitable companies, and he would like to come up with a systematic approach to philanthropy itself.

Apple is preparing another iPhone 12 for next year, but the model will not offer 5G connectivity

The introduction of this year's generation of Apple phones is slowly coming to an end. We are only a few months away from the launch itself, and according to the information so far, we definitely have a lot to look forward to. Specifically, we should expect four models, all of which will boast an OLED panel and 5G connection. But today, brand new news began to spread on the Internet, which discuss the possible arrival of another model. What is it about, why will we see it in a year and what function will it lose?

iPhone 12 Pro Concept:

To clarify everything, we will have to go back a few months. Wedbush Securities reported to the public about one of the first leaks ever. Specifically, it was about the fact that Apple is going to release more models in the fall that will offer 4G and 5G connections. However, they subsequently contacted the Asian supply chain and reconsidered their opinion – the iPhone 12 should only offer 5G. According to the Business Insider magazine, which has fresh information from this agency, the situation will be slightly different.

In the fall, we should expect a classic presentation, when the 4 mentioned models are waiting for us. At the beginning of next year, however, another, and above all, will enter the market cheaper iPhone 12. It will lack the vaunted 5G connection and thus offer its users "only" 4G/LTE.

This year, we are plagued by the COVID-19 pandemic, and that is why people are starting to save. So it can be expected that sales will not be as high as in previous years. It is precisely for this reason that Apple should decide to release several different models. In this way, it could cover a significant part of the market and offer customers phones at different price points. iPhone 12 without 5G should cost 23 thousand crowns. Would you be interested in it?
