About the lawsuit between Apple and its former employee Gerard Williams III. we have already informed you several times. Williams, who was involved in the development of processors for iPhones and iPads at Apple, left the company in the spring of last year. He founded his own company called Nuvia, which was engaged in the production of processors. Apple subsequently accused Williams of profiting from the design of iPhone processors for business purposes, and that Williams even allegedly founded the company with the understanding that Apple would then buy it from him.

In his appeal, Williams accused Apple of unauthorized access to his private messages. But Williams' appeal was dismissed earlier this year by a court that also rejected his contention that California law does nothing to prohibit workers from planning their own businesses while still employed elsewhere.

According to Bloomberg, Williams later accused Apple of trying to lure his own employees to its ranks. In his statement, he further stated, among other things, that his former breadwinner is trying to prevent his own employees from terminating their employment in order to start a business on their own.

The lawsuit filed against Williams by Apple is, in his own words, aimed at "stifling the creation of new technologies and solutions by other companies." According to Williams, Apple also wants to restrict the freedom of entrepreneurs to find work that will fulfill them more. According to him, the Cupertino giant also allegedly discourages its employees from "preliminary and legally protected decisions to build a new business" regardless of whether the planned company is a competitor of Apple.
