In just a week, we should know what plans Apple has in the music world. The Californian company's entry into the streaming space is expected to be announced, but it will arrive with considerable delay. That's why Apple trying to get as many exclusive partners as possible, so that it can dazzle at the start of new services.

According to the report New York Post Apple representatives they act with rapper Drake being offered up to $19 million to become one of iTunes Radio's DJs. Although this service has been operating in the United States for some time, Apple, in addition to a brand new streaming service, apparently built on the foundations of Beats Music, is also planning big and attractive news for iTunes Radio.

Drake is said to be just one of the many artists that Apple would like to acquire in its ranks, so it could attack competitors like Spotify or YouTube from day one. Negotiations are said to be ongoing with, for example, Pharrell Williams or David Guetta.

Apple executives have been very busy in recent weeks, as ideally everything should be fine-tuned and signed by the end of this week. On Monday, Tim Cook and co. to present the company's software news at the keynote that kicks off the WWDC developer conference. But it is not at all clear whether Apple will manage to fine-tune all matters so quickly.

According to the information New York Post Apple is planning one more very interesting thing for its new streaming service. For the first three months, he wants to offer users listening to music that would otherwise cost $10 a month, completely free. The problem, however, is that Apple is asking publishers to also grant him the rights for free during this time, which certainly won't be easy, if at all realistic, to negotiate.

First, according to available information, Apple wanted to attack competing services by deployed a lower monthly rate, like around eight dollars. However, he didn't failed to gain traction with publishers, and so now wants to attack with the initial lure of free listening. All this despite the fact that he himself, for example, don't like Spotify's free version too much.

In any case, Apple has no small ambitions. Apparently, Eddy Cue, who is in charge of the new service, would prefer to combine the best of Spotify, YouTube and Pandora, the main competitors in the market, and offer everything with the Apple logo as an unbeatable solution. This is to include music streaming, a sort of social network for artists, as well as a revamped form of radio. The keynote itself will show whether we will see everything in a week at WWDC.
