This year's eighth version of iOS brought widgets to the notification center. Some may have thought that the widgets would be interactive and "loaded" with features. However, due to their location, i.e. in Obrand name center, they are primarily meant to serve up information, and Apple continues its strange campaign against those who do more than that.

Not long ago, you could read about delete the widget the PCalc application, although Apple eventually made the decision quickly after user protests changed. Now in Cupertino they have focused on another very popular application - the note-taker Drafts 4, which appeared in the App Store in October, when it replaced the original Drafts. The app is popular for its ability to write notes, emails or messages, create calendar events and much more. Written notes can then be opened in other applications.

Developer Greg Pierce was asked by Apple to remove the buttons for creating a new note and opening an app from the widget, which is essentially the entire functionality of the widget. According to Apple's guidelines, the widget interface should be simple, efficient and with a limited amount of interactive elements.

This vague description leads to the creation of widgets that are then banned by Apple. It is somewhat puzzling why Apple approved an app only to later require the removal of some of its functionality. It is certainly worth noting the fact that a similar widget is also available, for example, in the Evernote application and many others, which have buttons in the Notification Center for launching themselves with a specific window, for example for creating a note. But you don't have any problems yet.

At the moment, it is not at all clear why Apple focused on Drafts. It's possible that Drafts is simply the first in line, and over time Apple will contact app developers with similar widgets. Anyway, if you hurry, you can buy v for Drafts 4 App Store still with a widget.
