We have already written several times about the fact that Apple wants to establish itself in the field of its own video content. This is a very well known thing considering what has been happening in this context for the last almost two years. Managers at Apple are aware that companies like Netflix and Amazon are making money from their video content and therefore want to join them. This year was marked by the building of a new team and a kind of tinkering for Apple. The company managed to get several interesting personalities and two firsts appeared as well, although they are far from successful projects. However, this does not deter the company either, and they want to dive headfirst into their own video content.

The foreign server Loup Ventures came up with the new information, citing analyst Gene Munster. He claims that Apple has decided to invest an incredible 2022 billion US dollars in its own video content by 4,2. This is essentially more than four times what the company has allocated for next year.

Another interesting piece of information, but speculative in nature, is that Apple will rename the Apple Music service. It is currently focused on streaming music, but that should change with the arrival of new content. Movies, series, documentaries, etc. will also appear on this platform later, and the name Apple Music would not correspond to what the platform offers. This step is said to take place in two to three years, and if Apple is really planning to enter the segment with its own video production, this is a logical outcome.

We should see the first fruits of this more than a year's genesis next year. We'll see what projects Apple comes up with in the end. It's clear that they won't make too much of a dent in the world with shows like Carpool Karaoke or Planet of the Apps. However, given the huge budget, we should have a lot to look forward to.
