Voice assistant Siri is now an integral part of Apple operating systems. It was available for the very first time on Apple phones in February 2010 as a separate application in the App Store, but relatively soon after that Apple bought it and with the arrival of the iPhone 4S, which entered the market in October 2011, incorporated it directly into its operating system. Since then, the assistant has undergone extensive development and made several steps forward.

But the truth is that Apple was gradually losing steam and Siri was losing more and more to its competition in the form of Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. After all, this is precisely why the Cupertino giant has been facing considerable criticism for a long time, and not only from the fans and users themselves. That's why all kinds of mockery is also directed at the Apple virtual assistant. Apple should start solving this problem urgently before it's too late, so to speak. But what changes or improvements should he actually bet on? In this case, it's quite simple - just listen to the apple growers themselves. Therefore, let's focus on possible changes that users would most like to welcome.

How would Apple people change Siri?

As we mentioned above, Apple often faces criticism addressed to the virtual assistant Siri. In fact, however, it can also learn from this criticism and be inspired for possible changes and improvements that users would like to see. Apple users often mention that they lack the ability to give Siri several instructions at once. Everything has to be solved one at a time, which can complicate many things and unnecessarily delay them. And it is in such a case that we can get into a situation where voice control is simply lost. If the user wanted to play music, lock the door and start a certain scene in the smart home, he is out of luck - he has to activate Siri three times.

A certain continuity in the conversation itself is also slightly related to this. Maybe you yourself have come across situations where you want to continue a conversation, but Siri suddenly has no idea what you were actually dealing with a few seconds ago. At the same time, this kind of improvement is absolutely essential to make the voice assistant a little more "human". In this regard, it would also be appropriate for Siri to continuously learn to work with a specific user and learn some of his habits. However, a huge question mark hangs over something like this with regard to privacy and its possible abuse.

Apple users also quite often mention better integration with third-party applications. In this respect, Apple could be inspired by its competition, namely Google and its Google Assistant, which is several steps ahead in terms of this integration. It even allows you to instruct it to start a specific game on Xbox, while the assistant will take care of turning on the console and the desired game title at once. Of course, this is not purely the work of Google, but close cooperation with Microsoft. So it certainly wouldn't hurt if Apple were more open to these possibilities as well.

When will we see improvements?

Although the implementation of the above-mentioned innovations and changes would certainly not be harmful, the somewhat more important question is when we will see any changes, or if at all. Unfortunately, no one knows the answer yet. As criticism of Siri piles up, Apple has no choice but to act. Currently, we can only hope that any news will come as soon as possible. As we have already mentioned above, the train is moving away from Apple.
