According to the server Re / Code (previously All Things Digital), who has already accurately reported the dates of upcoming Apple events in the past, the press event should take place on September 9. Information goes hand in hand with by Mark Gurman z 9to5Mac, according to which the unveiling was supposed to take place in the first half of September.
This is, of course, unofficial information, Apple itself only announces events a week in advance. At the moment, we can only wait for Jim Dalrymple's confirmation from The Loop, which boasts information directly from Apple, and whose "Yup" or "Nope" virtually confirms or disproves the claims Dalrymple refers to or cites. The last presentation of an Apple phone took place on September 11, 2013, so this year's press event would come just two days earlier.
This year, Apple is expected to launch two phones, of which at least one should have diagonal around 4,7 inches. In my opinion, the first iPhones and the 3G series looked the most luxurious, and that's because they had a fairly timeless design. Today, we're used to everything, so a shift in design doesn't add anything extra to us... And that doesn't just apply to Apple.

I think they will go from 8 to 16GB. In other words, it would be quite reasonable nowadays.

For CZK 9990, there will be a 5C, which will have 16 GB. Then the iPhone 6 with 4″ will start at 32 GB and the iPhone 6 with 4,7″ will start at 32 GB ;-)
I always swear when some first study or something comes out. I always lament that the previous model was much nicer. And then after two months, the previous model suddenly seems cumbersome, outdated. :) This year it will be just like that, so I'd better swear at the association and wait... :)

I really like the design. I don't have a 5S, so I'll probably buy one. but I don't see any great necessity like this :).
otherwise, the only thing that doesn't fit me in the leaked photo is just one flash diode for the camera. so I would expect some kind of oval like the one on the 5S with two diodes. otherwise, it's quite a realistic image that probably won't surprise anyone but won't offend either.
I would exchange the 5s for this thing mainly in one case - if the new one had more than 1GB of RAM. 1GB of RAM is quite small for a 5s as a computer with a full 64-bit system. Although Apple has its own multitasking system, 2GB would be better.
well, we'll see how the 5S runs with iOS8. if it will be as smooth as with iOS7. or it will be like when I installed iOS3 on the iPad 7 and the speed of the system dropped by 50%. anyway, there will be 3-4 months of testing before the phone will be for sale in CR :)
Beta runs fine for me, that's not the point. It is about the overall principle of the 64-bit system and especially the application - it all takes up more space than on a 32-bit platform. The iP5s is a very powerful machine, but in my opinion, it just needs a bit of extra RAM for the future. But it is true that iOS8 on a 4Sku with 512MB will still be on the edge despite the fact that it is a 32-bit platform.
But it won't look like this. According to the latest chassis leaks, there will only be some pretty nasty stripes. It would be great like this with the surfaces above and below. But unfortunately…
