Imagine that you and your friends are on summer vacation under a tent away from public lights. There will be an amazing star spectacle above you at night, but unless you are an avid astronomer, you will have a hard time putting together any constellations. Since then, there is Star Walk 2, which has undergone a rather important update. Newly, the entire menu is much clearer and cleaner. The graphic page has also undergone noticeable changes, and some new effects and options have also been added.
Star Walk 2 shows you the complete starry sky in real time. Once you start moving your iPhone sideways, you can see everything above you. The application shows not only various constellations, but also planets, satellites, comets and many other cosmic phenomena. If something interests you, you can comfortably zoom in on the object, and what's more, you can click on it and read its history, facts or myths.
From the first part, on the other hand, the developers kept the timeline, on which you can select a specific day and time, while the application itself will offer you how the starry sky looked at that time. You can search both in the past and in the future. You can look back, for example, at the recent eclipse of the moon or take a detailed look at the comets that flew around our planet.
The application also has an augmented reality mode, so if you are outside, you can project the current image, which is supplemented with the given stars and night sky.
Whether you like space or not, I still recommend you download Star Walk 2. I firmly believe that it can come in handy sometime in the future and you can easily impress others or just enjoy a long moment with your significant other.
