There are never enough puzzle games. Personally, I like to switch between them and sometimes I can't last long with one, especially if I get stuck in a round. I'm happy to have a new brain teaser game for this week in the form of Quell Memento+. It can be downloaded for free in the App Store as part of the app of the week.

The game is the responsibility of the developers Fallen Tree Games, who have already released two previous parts with a ball and mini puzzle games. The principle of Quell Memento+ is to solve a given level in such a way that you have one or more marbles at your disposal, with which you must either collect, transform, break or find something. At the same time, you move in a maze of cubes and you have to figure out the given mystery in the smallest possible number of moves.

At the beginning, there is also a short tutorial waiting for you, which perfectly introduces you to how to move the ball and what is the meaning of the game. Quell Memento+ also has its secondary story, where an old man gradually uncovers lost memories. These represent individual levels, with nine such images waiting for you. In each of them there are four mini games that you have to solve. In total, you can test your skills in more than 140 rounds.

The atmosphere of the period is pleasantly emphasized by the music, and the graphics of the game are not bad either. Gameplay-wise, however, Quell Memento+ loses a bit of juice and steam after playing a few rounds. The game becomes very monotonous to boring over time. It looks like the week might not even be over and I'll have to look around for a new game.

Anyway, if you're a fan of puzzle games, you might be interested in Quell Memento+. The fact that it's free to download in the App Store is also nice, so if you don't like it now, maybe you'll give it a chance another time. You can run Quell Memento+ on any iOS device without problems, including older ones running iOS 6.0.
