The easiest option offered is to download the app, which is completely free as part of the App of the Week. This time, Apple has prepared for us an interesting platformer Icycle: On Thin Ice, which is free for the first time since its launch in the App Store.
In the role of crazy guy Dennis, who rides his bicycle, you will be tasked with overcoming a number of obstacles, puzzles and various battles. At first glance, Icycle: On Thin Ice catches your eye with its novel game concept and design. In the same way, throughout the game you will be accompanied by musical accompaniment, which perfectly copies the current game environment for most of the time.
The control of the entire game itself is very intuitive. You use the directional arrows to move forward and backward, and you also have the option of jumping with a subsequent umbrella, which acts as an imaginary parachute. In total, the developers have prepared eighty different rounds in which you have to guide Dennis safely through the given terrain. Of course, sometimes it won't be as simple as it might seem at first glance. You have a total of four lives per round, and if you use them up, you have to start over.

Icycle: On Thin Ice amuses and at the same time delights with various video sequences or crazy animation with a story. On the other hand, not everyone may like this style of play. If I had to assign the game to a subculture or genre, I would personally choose the hipster style.
Of course, there are various improvements and user gadgets in the game. An interesting diversion is, for example, a small shop in which you can gradually dress Dennis and buy him various fashion improvements. Ice floes that you collect during your adventures serve as money here.
Normally, Icycle costs €2,69, which is not cheap at all. Now the game is completely free for both iPhones and iPads.
